    This is brilliant, simply brilliant.

And yes, I love you! For this and for so much more.

Blessings of this season to you and to all who grace these pages.

  6. Fabulous!
I can’t think of a more inspirational way to begin the Advent season.

I have this as one of my walking tunes, lately (ok, past few months) I’ve been “skipping over it” to get to a more “up beat tune” for my walk. Wow! Quite the metaphor for the way I’ve been handling my life lately.

As always, Thank you Meredith, you never cease to inspire me. I won’t be “skipping over” this Advent season.
Bless you and all this season of coming home.

  10. Wow wow wow...feeling the love from y'all. I've been so cranky and upset about so many things Church for the past few liturgical seasons. I'm ready to embrace and be embraced by Advent.

  12. In many, non-liturgical, evangelical churches, Advent is not acknowledged as part of intentional worship - this has been our experience. Our new CMA church "does" Advent and has asked us this week to embrace "Jesus, God with us" in some very practical ways. Your posting, and this song are a great addition to that spiritual exercise.

Blessings to you and Dan!Isn't it nice to know that we only have to celebrate the "first coming" and we and, as we prepare to rejoice in his Birth, we anticipate his Second Coming. Come quickly Lord Jesus, come.
