every obligation or every renunciation
between ourselves and God
which we have vowed
which we have sworn
which we have promised
and taken upon ourselves
from the preceding Day of Atonement
unto this Day of Atonement
may it come upon us in peace.
All such oaths
all such vows
all such promises
or renunciations
are as if they were not
they shall not be binding
nor shall they have any power.
